Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker maker, is looking for a new Strategic & Project Purchaser to work at our HQ in Skanderborg.
About the job
As our new Strategic & Project Purchaser your main responsibility will be to analyse our current supplier set-up, in collaboration with our Procurement Manager create our purchasing strategy by applying your knowledge and experience, to ensure we further professionalise our way of working with our entire Supply Chain. From the beginning of the projects and throughout the whole product lifecycle.
You’ll become part of project teams developing new products and be responsible for all Procurements tasks in these projects, working according to our stage gate model. You will work closely with colleagues in R&D, Product Management, Planning, Sales and Production to ensure we continuously develop and produce world-class speakers.

We’re a team of 7 dedicated colleagues in Denmark in an international environment with 4 nationalities, our workday is characterised as busy and challenging, but there’s also time for jokes during the day. We support each other well, having different backgrounds and various key competencies within production technology, purchasing, sourcing, strategic and project management.
About you
You have in-depth knowledge of the workings of a Supply Chain, and have previous experience with supplier segmentation and a keen interest in creating a purchasing strategy, and at the same time become a key project participant in development projects.
You are well versed in the usage of IT-systems such as ERP and PLM (we use D365 and Windchill), as well as Excel and MS Outlook. Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus.
English is our main company language, so you’ll need to be comfortably fluent in both writing and speaking it too.

- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Responsible for own product categories with associated vendors.
- Manage supplier contracts and appendices
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Counter unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Lead all procurements tasks in development projects according to our stage gate model
- Project management within cost down projects
- Claim handling towards suppliers
- Occasionally perform supplier audits
About the department

About you

- Your educational background could be from Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Development or similar, preferably at bachelor’s level.
- You have at least 3 years working experience within strategic purchasing and projects, preferably with categories such as: Wood/cabinets, adhesives, foam, packaging, electronics (EMS) and ODM/OEM manufacturing, where you have demonstrated your skills as a negotiator of contracts.
- Experience within Chinese culture and business methods.
- You possess a technical understanding that will enable you to make sound decisions about purchasing together with other project participants.
- Experience with ISO/IATF16949 is a plus.
- As a person you possess the drive to make things change and see things through.
- You have a pro-active workstyle and you use your analytical skills to foresee challenges and problems in the Supply Chain, also when facing opposition.
- Your sense of structure enables you to work with a large array of different personalities in a creative environment.
- Your global mindset helps you engage and create relationships with stakeholders of many cultures.
