As part of delivering on the vision, the company needs a Strategic Purchaser who can help lift their procurement function to the next level. The role of Strategic Buyer in Cimbria offers great opportunities, as you will become part of the world’s largest player in industrial processes in agriculture. You will be part of an international team with colleagues in Austria, Italy, and Kenya, among others, as well as in Thisted. The role requires extroversion and willingness to cooperate across both professional and geographical boundaries. You can help create structure and solid processes for your area while providing a high level of service to your project colleagues.
Create and develop a strong contact
You will be responsible for developing purchase strategy to cost-optimize, maximize quality and create long-term business value in close cooperation with the Solution Delivery Organization and you refer to Senior Manager Solution Delivery.
Your primary responsibilities and tasks are:

Knowledge of process machines and equipment
You have an educational background such as longer tertiary education, HD, or similar and documented experience from a similar position with a minimum of 3 years of experience with procurement and preferably in a larger international company or group. You have general knowledge of process machines and equipment, and additionally experience with procurement processes, negotiation, contracting, and development and implementation of sourcing strategies. You must be able to communicate in English in writing and speaking as a natural part of the working day and experience in working directly with suppliers.
You need to be open to working with many cultures and understanding the views of others. Your closest stakeholders see you as an energetic team player, and you face daily challenges with an open and pragmatic mindset. You are well organized and structured, and your analytical sense makes it easy for you to create an overview in a short time. In addition, you are hardworking and keep your head cool without getting lost in detail. You see yourself as a person with a big "drive", who takes initiative and makes things happen, and you have a high-stress threshold. You thrive well in a team but can also work independently and understands how to cooperate at different levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Finally, you make educated decisions based on data.

Create and develop a strong contact
You will be responsible for developing purchase strategy to cost-optimize, maximize quality and create long-term business value in close cooperation with the Solution Delivery Organization and you refer to Senior Manager Solution Delivery.

- Analyze Spend Portfolio and implement appropriate sourcing strategies including:
- Identification and selection of preferred suppliers.
- Maturation of the supplier base to the project-based purchase.
- Scouting for new suppliers.
- Introduce Purchasing Best Practice Policies.
- Preparation of supplier agreements.
- Supplier quality management
- Planning and participation in audits with suppliers.
- Creation and maintenance of supplier information in ERP system.
- Creation and follow-up on purchase orders in ERP system.
