We have two exciting positions as planners/buyers for projects within the ERMTS wayside implementation. The positions are primarily onsite for Alstom at their manufacturing facility in Bautzen, Germany with the possibility of some remote work. Good working and salary conditions.

TASKS:
- Ensure delivery of goods and services
- Manage order processing in SAP, ensure deadlines, order confirmations, complaints, enforcement of replacement deliveries, etc.
- Daily deadline control and preventive material availability control
- Daily coordination with other departments and with suppliers
- Realization of a quality-oriented delivery of materials to production areas and associated areas
- Monitoring the high reliability of order coverage, (OTD) On-Time Delivery, (MIT) Material Inventory Turn
- Participation and selection of logistics concept including economic analysis
- Support and preparation of documents for enforcement of supplier requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- German and English in writing and speaking is a requirement
- Min. 5 years of work experience in purchasing or the supply chain
- Completed min. 3 year university education or 3 year vocational education with 2-year specializing in business administration (or equivalent)
- Ideally experience within the railway sector, otherwise industrial background
- Solid handling of MS Office and good knowledge of SAP
- Technical knowledge and knowledge of negotiation techniques, ability to follow-through
- Team-oriented, problem-solving skills and strong communication skills
