Aalborg Portland, part of the Cementir Group, is in search of an experienced Local Internal Audit Manager to join our team. Our focus is on achieving operational excellence, promoting sustainability, and ensuring compliance throughout all facets of our operations.
In the role of the new Local Internal Audit Manager, you will take on a range of responsibilities. These include conducting operational audits, overseeing special projects assigned by top management, leading efforts in sustainability reporting, managing risk oversight, handling whistleblowing processes, monitoring the implementation of action plans, and conducting audits related to compliance requirements.
Your key responsibilities involve actively monitoring local processes and internal control systems, gathering and analyzing information about the organization's systems, planning and executing audits (operational, financial, and compliance), leading special projects as needed by senior management, interacting with management at all levels, and participating in monitoring activities.
It's important to note that this role may involve up to 25% travel time for Audit Projects across the Cementir Group.
Your Profile
As a person you possess strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills both spoken and written. You have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in audit, compliance, fraud investigation, or risk management, knowledge of the SAP system, familiarity with Celonis, and relevant professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, or CIA are a plus.
