You will be part of our Nordics Field IT team spread across Højbjerg, Norway and Sweden. As a driven and proactive IT support professional will be required to manage a variety of assignment at any one time whilst supporting office and manufacturing sites across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team and work with our international third party partners. How you will do it
- Provide user support, replace computers and at the same time coordinate major or minor projects with our global partner
- Resolve incident / service request according ITIL best practices, troubleshoot and report errors to other stakeholders
- Participate or be responsible for projects such as replacing computer, printer, router / switching, etc.
- Ensure the implementation of global and local initiatives
- Various administrator tasks, e.g. internal documentation
- You are service-minded and drives by helping and guiding our users
- And will do the extra effort when required
- You will be able apply the IT strategy to our daily operation
- User contact face-to-face or by phone, Skype or e-mail
- Troubleshooting, create and resolve tasks from the ticket system
- Technical problems on Windows and applications to the more administrative tasks
- Report faults to the next level IT-teams or third-party partners
- Manage End-of-Lease computers through their lifecycle
- Participate in the implementation of global initiatives. Like upgrading OS to Windows10 versions, O365 roll out
- Assist vendor when replacing router, switches and printer
What we look for
Required
- It is important that you have some years of experience from a similar function and are broad in your IT skills
- You are motivated by providing good user support and like to ensure a stable environment
- You communicate with the user at different levels and can put you in the user's place
- Ability to cooperate with your team members and organization from a distance
- You are collaborative, a good problem solver and proactive to follow-up on tasks, and can quick understand new processes and systems
- Fluency in both Danish and English language is required
- Previous experience with MS Windows and O365
- You are familiar with ITIL best practice
- Basic knowledge of LAN / WAN, switches, printer
Preferred
- You are good at prioritizing your tasks
- You are a team player and at the same time able to work independently
- Ability to work in a structured way and meet your deadlines
