Hands on Test Manager – QA Lead
Do you want to set and implement the QA agenda within a super exciting transformation program?
Here you have an opportunity to be part of the biggest transformation program in the history of Topdanmark. In the program we are transforming our legacy core policy systems to the standard insurance platform Guidewire. The program consists of more than 300 super skilled colleagues where you can grow professionally and personally – your own ambition and talent sets the bar.
Drive the QA agenda
You will join the QA team in the program which has the responsibility for performing the E2E test and overall drive the QA agenda. Your responsibility will be a balance between securing the progress of the test of the program alongside the external test manager and setting and driving the long-term QA strategy for the new platform.
The QA strategy consists of a mix of test methods and test objectives that were set at the beginning of the program. Your job will be to update the strategy to fit the current needs. Furthermore, you will be responsible for facilitating and implementing the test processes and tools into the agile development teams via a hands-on approach, where you act as super user of selected tools and facilitate direct contact to tool vendors.
You will be working closely with the DevOps team in the program and the IT Operations team in Topdanmark to secure efficient processes and close collaboration regarding test environments, test data and CI/CD pipelines.

Your new home
Your new work place will be the Topdanmark head office in Ballerup, where you will be part of the Core Systems area. You will be assigned to the core policy transformation program for several years. Following this you will take a crucial role in the transformation to daily operations as Topdanmark takes over the responsibility for future operations and development. Consequently, there is a lot of room to shape the future of your work life. The area consists of 90 IT professionals in our office in Ballerup and Kuala Lumpur. You will have a lot of opportunities to travel and exchange knowledge/experiences with colleagues in both locations.
The area plays a crucial part of the Digital First Strategy in Topdanmark. This strategy is a paradigm change in the way we look at insurance sales and customer interactions, and naturally IT is the corner stone in fulfilling the strategy.

You possess the following skills and interests:
- A relevant academic education within SW Engineering
- 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role working as a Test manager, QA Lead etc.
- Experience in writing and implementing a test strategy
- Experience in implementing test automation tools
- Experience/knowledge of working in an agile setup and culture
- Experience in working with insurance or within the Financial Sector IT is viewed as a plus
