System Test Engineer

Join the Global Business Development Electronics Laboratory
As part of the Global Business Development (BD) Electronics Laboratory, you join 26 experienced engineers and technicians. We carry out a broad range of tests and need to strengthen our position within the field of system integration tests to ensure that our systems remain world-class.
Together with an established team of experienced system test engineers you will participate in building and developing our system integration test capabilities as well as carrying out tests across our Global BD product portfolio.
Set direction for system integration testing and work hands-on with testing
As System Test Engineer, you assist in building up and developing our system integration test team, establish and define processes, strategies and methods as you go.
Part of your role is to plan, prioritize and participate in the testing as well as delegate tasks to the system testers. Specifically, you:
Moreover, you participate in developing the area of pump-system knowledge in the Global BD Lab to advise and share knowledge with partners on integrated system features and testing of this area.

Ideally, you have a background as test manager, test engineer or similar testing background. You have combined this with a couple of years of experience establishing and implementing test processes. But you have never let go of the technical challenges – and you are not willing to. In order to define test methods, you must have a curious mindset along with technical prowess. As System Test Engineer, you assist in building up and developing our system integration test team, establish and define processes, strategies and methods as you go.
Part of your role is to plan, prioritize and participate in the testing as well as delegate tasks to the system testers. Specifically, you:
- Participate in defining, aligning and consolidating system integration test strategies in cooperation with your manager, partners and colleagues.
- Define and standardize system integration test methods and tools and build a structured system-test approach.
- Specify, program and implement automated system integration testing.
- Prepare, conduct, analyze, fault-detect and conclude on system integration testing according to agreed plans.
Moreover, you participate in developing the area of pump-system knowledge in the Global BD Lab to advise and share knowledge with partners on integrated system features and testing of this area.
Are you ready to take on the challenge of system testing?
Ideally, you have a background as test manager, test engineer or similar testing background. You have combined this with a couple of years of experience establishing and implementing test processes. But you have never let go of the technical challenges – and you are not willing to. In order to define test methods, you must have a curious mindset along with technical prowess. Therefore, your qualifications include:
- Certified Advanced level ISTQB Test Manager.
- A background as software engineer, data engineer or similar with proven experience in SW programming, e.g. C, C++ or C#.
- Experience with communication protocols, architecture of automated test and test of integrated systems.
- A highly analytical and systematic work approach combined with a high degree of pragmatism and high-quality standards.
- You master written and oral English and have an extrovert personality. Are flexible and have good communication skills.
