Driving the strategic IT agenda
Scandinavian Tobacco Group is transforming the way the Group is organized, working and doing business. IT is going through a restructuring phase, where new profiles are being on-boarded to deliver on the increasing business needs for good quality data and insights. We are looking for an ambitious Senior IT Project Manager with a global and innovative mindset, to manage large and small projects with strong focus on implementation with shared ownership. You find passion and motivation in maneuvering in a cross-functional environment and have a proactive approach towards strengthening our processes and practices across Group IT and the business.

The Senior IT Project Manager will be a part of our Group IT, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, Kenneth Messerschmidt. You will be working at our head office in Gentofte, Denmark.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Drive results with a pragmatic approach
- Take full ownership of all aspects and project disciplines
- Inspire the organization (both business and IT) with project methodology and governance
- Execute and implement all kinds of projects and process improvements – from very small, technical projects, to very large IT/business transformations
- Build, maintain and execute on IT Project Portfolio
- People Management – where the potential of project participants is fully leveraged
The Senior IT Project Manager will be a part of our Group IT, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, Kenneth Messerschmidt. You will be working at our head office in Gentofte, Denmark.
What is needed to succeed?
- Experienced in managing very complex business and IT transformations
- Ability to make complex decisions simple and understandable
- Development of strong relations inside and outside of IT
- A solid theoretical background, e.g. a master degree in IT
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in an international environment.
- You have demonstrated success in developing and implementing major IT projects on a global scale, based on high business acumen and analytical thinking.
- Your project management toolbox is top-class, with high technical understanding within ERP, CMS and CRM-systems.
- You have a strong drive towards delivering results according to plan, are a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, both across organizations and cultures, and you possess the diplomatic skills to explain, confront and support in a constructive manner.
- It is expected that you are fluent in English.
