Your Role
You act as a trustworthy partner for the Nordic business on various topics: new innovations and IT solutions, new external IT partners e g within FinTech, internal IT contacts, etc. You ensure the effective use of information systems to meet business requirements and explain and market projects and services. Based on situation and different stakeholders you can adopt the role of the trustworthy consultant, successful leader, disruptive influencer/challenger, reliable business enabler.
You lead a cross-functional team of 15 colleagues and realize the initiatives and projects together with the global IT organisation.
As Head of IT Nordics you are a member of the SFS Nordics Management team and also contribute to the overall leadership and development of the business.
You are based in Sweden, domestic travel will be regular and occasional travel to other Nordic Offices, Germany or United Kingdom to meet Regional or global IT Management.
Main responsibilities
- You aim at increasing business value by using IT, understanding the business needs and ensuring that the IT solutions meet the requirements of the business
- You actively drive forward the digitization of Siemens Financial Services and act as idea initiator for innovations within the business
- You perform comprehensive, proactive IT consulting at senior executive level for business challenges
- You know all IT services that are applied by the business, as well as the corresponding structures in IT
- Relationship Management: You manage the cooperative IT business relationship within Siemens
- Within the SFS IT Strategy you steer the IT interests for the Nordic business and align with the Global IT organisation in Siemens
- Leading a cross functional team of 15 internal and external IT colleagues
- You are an active part of the Global IT Partner Community
- You own the IT financial management for SFS Nordics
Who you are
The candidate we are looking for thrives in an international environment and contributes to the business by an innovative approach and seniority with focus on the business. You are used to work in a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and hold the course in your initaitives and projects all the way through to fulfilment.
You have extensive experience of professional IT business development in a financial services environment; banking, leasing, payments etc on a managerial level. Either as a line manager or program/project manager where your leadership skills have been a success factor.
You are familiar with current IT innovations in the financial services and leasing industry, have a good overview of FinTech’s and the regulatory financial environment and the implications on IT. In addition to your strong customer orientation, you are characterized by excellent communication skills and your analytical and strategic thinking.
Your business fluent English skills round off your profile in an international environment.
