IT Strategy Coordinator to impact the digital transformation of Device R&D in Novo Nordisk

About the department
We at the Device R&D IT department are responsible for driving the IT strategy in Device R&D in order to support the unit with the development of medical devices in Novo Nordisk. This means we identify and drive projects to equip Device R&D with current and relevant IT innovation, i.e. driving strategic improvements, e.g. aiming for digitalization and automation of relevant processes.
Further, we monitor IT initiatives across different areas and identify synergies across the existing systems, in order to ensure alignment with the Device R&D IT strategy and the overall Novo Nordisk IT strategy.
The position
You will report to the Senior Manager for IT in Device R&D and be a part of a small team, which currently focuses on maintaining and monitoring of IT systems. As IT is a supporting tool for developing new devices in R&D, identifying areas where e.g. automation of processes or ensuring continuous and systematic data analyses is key this position. One of your main responsibilities will be to drive the implementation of strategic IT projects as well as facilitate strategic decision making with the relevant stakeholders and with management. As a consequence, you will need to manoeuvre in a field of various stakeholders across all functions and areas in Device R&D and beyond.
Qualifications
The successful candidate holds an academic education within a relevant field. We expect you to have solid IT understanding including potential IT game changers such as data practices, digitalization, automation, AI, and ML. Ideally, you have work experience from a role as an excellent coordinator and/or a change manager. You are able to communicate complex processes easily, and driving new and unknown processes to fruitful solutions motivates you. You keep a positive, constructive, and convincing approach even when pressure is on and your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations.
