Position
We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to join our global IT Operations team to ensure a smooth operation of our IT platforms and datacenters. The IT Operations department is responsible for the continuous high availability of IT systems including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, backup and recovery, reporting and life cycle management of IT infrastructure. We are a decentralized global team and looking to expand the department with a person in our Danish headquarters, located in Hørsholm. The person on this position will work closely together with the Senior Datacenter architect, and report to Director, Global IT Operations & Support.

We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to join our global IT Operations team to ensure a smooth operation of our IT platforms and datacenters. The IT Operations department is responsible for the continuous high availability of IT systems including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, backup and recovery, reporting and life cycle management of IT infrastructure. We are a decentralized global team and looking to expand the department with a person in our Danish headquarters, located in Hørsholm. The person on this position will work closely together with the Senior Datacenter architect, and report to Director, Global IT Operations & Support.
Field of responsibility
- General datacenter operation, including server, storage and VM host lifecycles from identifying need to physical retirement
- Administration and troubleshooting of mail flow and MS Exchange
- Daily administration of DNS, DHCP, NTFS, PKI and Active Directory related tasks
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of network, servers, storage and IT infrastructure
Your qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working and installing core infrastructure systems
- Strong technical knowledge and experience working with daily operation in several of below categories seen from an infrastructure perspective:
- VMware (ESXi, vSphere, NSX, vSAN)
- General solid network understanding (VLANS, SUBNETS, OSI model)
- Windows Server (DNS, DHCP, NTFS, AD)
- MS Exchange 2016 & O365 and related (SPF, DKIM, TLS)
- Storage solutions iSCSI, SAN (Nimble/HPE)
- A proactive mindset, strong skills working with technical documentation and a desire to take responsibility and work independently
- The flexibility to travel and sometimes work outside business hours to avoid business impact

Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you:
- Have knowledge of cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, Google)
- Have previously worked under FDA/EMA regulations
- Have previously worked with a global infrastructure setup
