MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is looking for an Upgrade Item Coordinator to join the upgrade area in our Nacelle NPI department (New Product Introduction). You will work from the factory at Lindø, Denmark. With reference to the NPI Manager, you can look forward to an exciting, busy and challenging job.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be part of the team ensuring that critical upgrades are implemented in production and on site as fast as possible in a safe manner. You will be the single point of contact in relation to items needed for upgrades. You will collaborate with many different stakeholders from Logistics, Warehouse, Operations, Special Projects and Production.
You will also:
Compile which parts are needed for the upgrades both in production, pre-assembly and on site Check if parts are already in stock or in order to reduce orders to a minimum Inform the Logistics Call-Off on what to purchase and when delivery is expected Coordinate and prioritise item allocation with production, pre-assembly and offshore sites Coordinate with the upgrade warehouse to ensure parts are moved between locations Assist the warehouse department in moving parts between upgrade warehouse and warehouse when upgrades are ending Support finance to ensure transparency in costs
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has 2-5 years of experience from a similar position within the supply chain area. As a person, you are persistent, structured, proactive and detail oriented.You are able to handle many stakeholders and coordinate between these. You also need to be a team player able to be flexible when needed and getting your energy from achieving team results.
We expect that you:
Have a technical education, preferably at bachelor level Can cope with periods with a high work load Have good coordination skills Have a good understanding of technical products and the purchase of these Have MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint skills Are preferably well acquainted in AX or a similar ERP-system Speak, read and write Danish and English
