To further support this journey, we are establishing IT Transformation and Operational Excellence and are looking for a new colleague to be the head of the new department.
With direct reference to our VP IT, you will be responsible for creating a business-oriented, innovative, agile, and performance-driven culture and approach across a global IT organization as well as across Kamstrup. You will become part of an IT department with +40 IT professionals, with a current culture that is tech-savvy and grounded.
A job with focus on establishing a value-creating performance management culture across Global IT
As the new Head of IT Transformation and Operational Excellence, you will be a strategic contributor and facilitator in the major transformation of the Global IT organization. The department consists of 8 team members, and it will be the lighthouse for introducing and implementing new agile ways of working across Global IT. You will be responsible for setting up a team able to help you align with the strategic ambitions of VP IT.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Developing a Project Management Office (PMO)
• Implementing and facilitating the new business partnering concept in IT
• Developing agile and optimized ways of working across the Global IT organization
• Optimizing and implementing IT Governance Models
Furthermore, you will be responsible for process optimization and implementation of strategic goal-setting for the above-mentioned areas of responsibility. In line with that, you will be coaching the project teams in efficient and agile project management and offering project management tools and best practices.
Personality matters
We are looking for a highly experienced Head of Transformation and Operational Excellence with +5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably from a global and complex organization. You have a proven track-record with large-scale transformation projects and solid experience with managing across functional areas and organizational levels.
As a person, you are a strong communicator and build constructive cross-functional relationships. You are a visionary leader, who serves as a role model for driving positive change and inspiring the team to take our IT organization to new heights. You are proactive and resilient. As a people manager, you have a positive and cooperative attitude, actively empower your employees, and encourage them to take responsibility and ownership.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish is an advantage.
