About the department
The Tresiba® and NGI access team, part of the larger Global Patient Access area, is a results-oriented team responsible for obtaining, optimizing and defending access for patients to our innovative diabetes medicines. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders, Tresiba® and NGI access establishes the strategies, processes and key support tactics in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, health economics & outcomes research, value communication, and subsequently supports implementation regionally and locally.
The position
This is an exciting opportunity to champion patient access strategy and solutions within the Novo Nordisk organization, including Regions and affiliates, to advance the commercial impact of our diabetes medicines through improved access conditions for patients.
Your role is to maximize the value of the diabetes portfolio through developing patient access strategies, driving excellence in patient access operations and processes, lifting patient access capabilities across the wider Novo Nordisk organization as well as lead the patient access Loss-of-Exclusivity strategies and tactics. Also, you will lead the strategic anchoring of life-cycle-management brands with our patient access team in Bangalore.
You will represent the Tresiba® and NGI access team within some of Novo Nordisk brand and project governance boards, ensuring that patient access is represented and prioritized appropriately. You will report to the Senior Global Director of the Tresiba® and NGI team and join a high performing access team responsible for access of our next generation insulins and Vcitoza®.
Qualifications
Proven prior experience (7+ years) in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred while direct experience working within a Patient Access function is essential. Strong experience within patient access strategy, processes and excellence across US, European and/or international health care systems is required.
You ideally combine payer or provider interaction experience with a fluency in both written and spoken English. Moreover, you have an outgoing, collaborative and commercial mind-set coupled with strong project management skills and an enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams.
