About the department
The Data & Analytics department is an integral part of FLSmidth Group Digital. Your team will be committed to democratize the data and creating value from data by the application of domain expertise, tools and technology for contemporary analytics.
You will be:
- ensuring data collection procedures for building analytic systems
- designing and building scalable and data intensive solutions
- operationalizing algorithms developed by data scientists
- integrating multiple data sets into consolidated databases; design, build and maintain operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes or data marts
- working with business partners to deliver on requirements in an agile manner
- building and deploying applications and solutions with CI/CD pipeline
- communicating and documenting designs and solutions
You have:
- experience with implementing Big Data platforms
- knowledge and preferably experience with different data storage types (NoSQL, Graph, Columnar)
- strong knowledge around software design and high-quality coding principles.
- strong knowledge of development in Python, Scala and/or Java.
- experience with popular cloud platforms and container technology tools.
