We are looking for a Global Cyber Security Functional Lead with great visions and the ability to create the future for cyber security in Plant Operations Engineering in Vestas.
Service Service Operations Operations Engineering Plant Operations Engineering
You will be part of the Global Operations Engineering team, a small and global team reporting into Service Operations and responsible for implementing and improving robust cyber security technologies, software and processes, as well as coordinating knowledge sharing and collaboration other internal teams. This includes working with Vestas Power Solution (VPS), Service Solutions, Service Commercial and Service Digitization & Transformation. You will be responsible for coordinating global responses to cyber security related issues, as well as building common practices that comply with cyber security standards for relating topics.

This includes working with Vestas Power Solution (VPS), Service Solutions, Service Commercial and Service Digitization & Transformation. You will be responsible for coordinating global responses to cyber security related issues, as well as building common practices that comply with cyber security standards for relating topics.
Responsibilities
For the anything relating to compliance of cyber security in relation to operating renewable energy assets, your responsibilities will be following:
- Own communication flow and development of best practices across cyber security experts in the regional Plant Operations Engineering teams, VPS, Service Solutions, Service Commercial and Service Digitization & Transformation
- Strategically plan, build and implement improvements to processes, tools and knowledge of regional Plant Operations Engineering teams
- Centralise and handle all incident response activities, including gathering investigation and preparing remediation activities
- Act as a central point of contact between centralised engineering and business teams (like VPS, CIM and Service Solution, Service Commercial, Service Digitization & Transformation) to Plant Operations Engineering
- Ensure that regional Plant Operations Engineering becomes an active stakeholder in the new product development's phase
- Support new product releases, ensuring all relevant Plant Operations Engineering teams are trained in depth in the product and having all needed documentation to support construction, commissioning and operations
- Track and own performance metrics which demonstrate success of achievements to processes, tools and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
As Cyber Security Functional Lead in Global Operations Engineering it is expected to have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 10 years of cyber security implementation experience, as well as engineering experience working on the design or operations of networks for energy projects, SCADA systems, power plant controllers and other related technologies
- Be recognised by the commercial and operational leaders in an SBU for excelling in communicating to customers on topics relating to your expertise
- Be recognised by their manager as a leader and role model for the team
- Speak and write fluently in English and proven ability to communicate across cultures
- Well versed in cyber security regulations and processes around IEC62443, NERC CIP or NIST CSF
Competencies
- Able to navigate a complex global matrixed organisation with the ability to influence without designated authority
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to all levels of internal and customer organisations
- Shown leadership in your field and able to establish influential relationships at all levels internally and externally, with great stakeholder management skills
- Self-moved and a significant individual contributor
- Organisational and communication skills and outgoing personality that allow you to achieve results through multi-disciplinary teams, involving colleagues from various parts of Vestas as well as external partners globally
