You will join our IT Security department
As our new Security Architect you will be part of the expanding IT security team in Global IT and you will be working closely with application owners, architects, system administrators and project managers in Global IT.

You will join our IT Security department
As our new Security Architect you will be part of the expanding IT security team in Global IT and you will be working closely with application owners, architects, system administrators and project managers in Global IT.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology and threat drivers
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Solutions Architects to ensure constant focus on IT Security issues
- Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that these are adequately addressed
- Participate in application and infrastructure projects to provide security planning advice
- Determine baseline security configuration standards for operating systems, network configuration and segmentation, middleware and key business applications
- Conduct security assessments of internal systems, applications and IT infrastructure as part of the overall risk management practice
- Coordinate with DevOps teams to advocate secure coding practices
- Coordinate with the Data Privacy Manager on requirements for implementation of technical security measures
- Validate IT infrastructure and other reference architectures for security best practices and recommend changes to enhance security and reduce risk where applicable
- Participate in the change management process to ensure IT Security issues are addressed in the change process
- Validate that security patches to firmware and operating systems are configured and deployed in a timely fashion
- Liaise with the vendor management team to conduct security assessments of existing and prospective vendors
- Liaise with the audit team to review and evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of security-related controls
- Review security technologies, tools and services, and make recommendations to the broader security team

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Architect role
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with IT at a technical level (preferably as a system administrator, software developer or solutions architect)
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture principles
- Experience with Cloud architecture principles
- Solid understanding of cyber and information security and IT compliance
- Experience with risk management and reporting
- Strong collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a complex multicultural matrix organisation
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Professional certifications are an advantage (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ITIL, PRINCE2, TOGAF)
