Hartmanns is recruiting for Better Energy a motivated Senior IT Supporter, to the office in Sønderborg, with strong competencies in the Microsoft portfolio as well as the practical aspects of on-site and remote IT support.

Better Energy maintains a diverse array of IT infrastructure owing to the many different areas in which we are active. This covers everything from Azure Active Directory and platform virtualization to MPLS networks and distributed secure VPN setups out to our various operational PV assets. In collaboration with the Senior IT Administrator and the Head of IT, you will ensure that Better Energy’s IT infrastructure remains fit for purpose, maintaining flexibility without prejudice to uptime or security.
Your background is not important, but we expect you to have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. We expect that you have experience with Microsoft products including Windows servers, desktop OS, Microsoft O365, Intune, Azure and that you have a general understanding of and experience with IT infrastructure, computers, networks, printers, and mobile devices. Knowledge of or experience with DHCP, DNS, GPO, and PowerShell administration, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or IntraNote Solutions would be a bonus but is not a requirement. You must have an advanced level of proficiency in both written and spoken English while Danish proficiency is desired but not required.
Your responsibilities will be:
You will be situated within Better Energy’s dedicated IT team and report to the Head of IT. This team is part of the fast-growing Systems & Analysis department currently consisting of 10 dedicated technical colleagues.
As a person, you are service-minded and comfortable in an outgoing role. You are structured, proactive, and happy to take the initiative. You can, independently or in co-operation with the IT team prioritize tasks and development of solutions. You can translate your knowledge into practice and can speak IT in a language everyone can understand.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be:
- On-site and remote IT support to everyone in Better Energy
- Configuration and maintenance of IT and OT hardware
- Installation and maintenance of software on servers and client computers
- Troubleshooting of system and network problems, diagnosing, and solving hardware or software faults
- Azure Cloud and Active Directory management
- Test and evaluation of new technology
- Creation of user-friendly documentation and guides, videos or learning courses as appropriate
- Liaising with and supporting IT-partners and suppliers
- Provide in-depth support for all mainstream MS software, including Windows OS and Office 365.
