Working at our headquarter in Humlebæk, you will become part of our international leadership team consisting of 7 department leaders spread across Denmark, the US and China. Although we are spread across three continents, we work closely together as a management team and support each other on various strategic projects.

Get the global responsibility of the data privacy area
In this role, you will work closely with both the commercial functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, and Innovation) and the back office functions (e.g. People and Culture, Finance, and IT). Your role is to guide your colleagues in all matters relating to data privacy and take actively part in the decision-making process.
You will be involved in both strategic projects as well as daily operations. As our Group Data Protection Officer, you will therefore amongst others be responsible for:
Your legal and data privacy skills are impeccable
We are looking for an independent person who is ambitious, possesses grit and tenacity and has excellent social skills to drive projects forward with success at all levels of the organisation. You have a deep IT-technical understanding combined with a strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
You are solution-oriented, responsive, proactive, and able to work on both a strategical, tactical, and operational level. Furthermore, you have solid analytical and project management skills and the ability to respond to complex challenges with innovative solutions. And finally, you are a team player who enjoys working with people from different cultures and educational backgrounds.

You will be involved in both strategic projects as well as daily operations. As our Group Data Protection Officer, you will therefore amongst others be responsible for:
- Advising your colleagues on data privacy matters – both on an operational and a strategic level
- Securing governance of Coloplast’s data protection compliance programme based on relevant legislation and industry best practices, including identifying, driving, optimising and auditing data privacy processes
- Identifying, assessing and managing data protection risks
- Our global data privacy policies and training programs
- Managing data breaches, including correspondence with authorities
- Facilitating and chair meetings in the Data Privacy Board
- Reporting to Coloplast’s Audit Committee

- Hold a master’s degree in law or similar
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience from a similar role with extensive experience in European and Danish data privacy matters – experience with other privacy laws is an advantage
- Speak and write English effortlessly – and preferably Danish as well
- Have solid IT user skills and are a superuser of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
