Are you ready to give our wind turbine blades the final touch?For our Post and Surface Treatment Team we are looking for a Process Engineer within add ons and adhesives. Here the key is to develop new and improve our current processes and support production.

About the role

As a Process Engineer you will be working with development of new and improvement of existing Final assembly processes in wind turbine blade production eg. drilling, machining, weighing and balancing. You will be supporting factories everyday production across continents and ensuring standardized production across the world through documentation and support. You will be developing processes for new projects, plants and blades and develop documentation for the production processes (work instruction, P-FMEA and risk assesments).

Designing and documentating "critical to-parameters" for processes within scope of work and risk mitigation in the process development and in production based on PFMEA & Risk assessments, will also be a part of your tasks. Moreover, you will be:

  • Implementing processes at production plant
  • Testing of new processes in small laboratory scale to full production scale
  • Supporting root cause analysis
  • Ensuring Best Practice sharing across plants and product portfolio
  • Collaborating with supplier’s technical staff
  • Collaborating with other internal departments e.g. the technology department and the quality department

Approximately 20 travel days a year are to be expected.

About you

You have worked with production processes and hold an engineering degree (eg. chemistry, material science or similar) or have experience from similar position. It is an advantage if you have industry experience and experience with composites. It is important that you possess knowledge in adhesive technologies and materials and must be familiar with Risk assessment and FMEA.

You have a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview and have a hand-on approach to problems. You possess the ability to both work independently and in teams and you have great english skills both orally and in writing.

In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
