Lead Chemist / Head of Chemistry - with Radisurf

Job Description:

You will be a leading figure in our chemical development team in direct collaboration with the CTO. Your areas of responsibility will include:

• leading and guiding the team
  
  

• planning and coordinating R&D projects based on our polymer brush technology
  
  

• maturing chemical processes towards large volume manufacturing. Experience in scaling chemical processes is an advantage
  
  
• explore and testing greenfield applications of polymer brushes
  
  

You will be working in a fast growing innovative Danish startup with a strong supportive culture. We are providing a laid back, yet highly professional working environment.

Background and Qualifications:

• at least a master's degree, preferably a PhD in chemistry. At least 5 years of relevant experience with R&D chemistry from industry
  
  
• you are a skilled and experienced organic or polymer-chemist with a desire to combine your strong theoretical knowledge with the practical experimentations in the lab
  
  
• you are hard-working, structured, a motivated leader with a curiosity to keep your knowledge up to date
  
  
• experience in patent writing and strategy is an advantage
