We are strengthening our operational team and are searching for a Laboratory Engineer at our plant in Skive/Denmark. The role will primarily involve lab work including implementing analytical methods for analyzing raw material, additives and final products from the production facility in Skive. The Laboratory Engineer will report to the Plant Manager and also collaborate with technical team in Quantafuel AS.

Responsibilities and tasks
- Administer the laboratory operations
- Implementation of analytical methods covering the feedstock, intermediates, additives, side fractions and final products
- Optimisation of analytical methods and procedures
- Supervise operators in sampling
- Responsible for organizing maintenance and calibration of the analytical equipment in the laboratory and the plant
- Reporting results
Qualifications
We seek people that are innovative, positive and upright. It is important that you are proactive and challenge the organization constructively. You can communicate complex issues in a simplified and understandable way.
- Bachelor/master in science/technology in chemistry, petroleum chemistry, analytical chemistry or other relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from production and quality control preferably in the petrochemical industry
Personal qualities
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages and English, both verbally and written
- Flexible and dynamic, taking responsibility for work scope
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
- Attention to detail
- Extensive experience in operating gas chromatography equipment.
