Is quality your passion?For our Surface Treatment Team we are looking for a Quality Engineer within Coating, Adhesives and Add ons. Here the focus is on quality tools, to set up inspection methods, develop/identify inspection- and detection methods for critical Quality/Process parameters and ensure quality during the manufacturing process.This ensures a long lifetime of our wind turbine blades and you help protecting what matters.
About the role
As a Quality Engineer you will be developing the new inspection methods for critical Quality and Process parameters based on DFMEA and PFMEA. You will be executing Measurement System Analysis on inspection methods and be benchmarking inspection methods/levels in the industry. You will be developing documentation for inspection methods (control instructions, PFMEA, Rsik Assessments) and implementing inspection methods at plant or suppliers.
Moreover, you will be supporting root cause analysis and production support and ensuring cooperation with universities, institutes and knowledge center.
Approximately 20 travel days a year are to be expected.
About you
You hold a degree in chemical engineering, composite engineering, material sciences, quality management or similar and it would be an advantage if you have industry experience and Non-destrutive Testing (NDT).You have experience in coating, adhesives and add-on processes and technologies and inspection methods for these areas and a good understanding of statistics.
You have a structured approach to your work and can handle simultaneous assignments without losing overview. You possess the ability to both work independently and in teams and have great English skills both orally and in writing.
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
