Experienced LEAN Partner to Corporate Vice President to drive transformation within manufacturing and supply chain

Then this is your call for action! Device Manufacturing & Sourcing is looking for an experienced LEAN practitioner to support our Corporate Vice President (CVP) and his management team to continue the development of the LEAN culture of the site both when it comes to processes and mindsets.

About the department

You will be based in Hillerød and be a part of the Business Support Department who is overall responsible for supporting the business unit which consist of 500 employees. You will join the Digital Transformation and cLEAN® team, that consists of 9 dedicated LEAN and digitalisation specialists who are working hard every day to optimise business processes through execution of strategic optimisation projects, shopfloor coaching and LEAN education. You will report to the Senior Manager of digital transformation & cLEAN® team and work closely with site management to develop the LEAN maturity of the organisation.

The position

You will be responsible for driving impact through three main dimensions:

Identification & execution of cross-functional projects

• Discover - Identification of improvement potential through value stream mapping/processes mapping together with site management
• Develop: Quantify and mature improvement potential by establishing business cases and high-level execution plans
• Deliver: Execute the most complex cross-functional project together with LEAN colleagues and the line of business to drive impact

People & capability building

• Run the cLEAN® capability building programme for the 500 employees of the site in collaboration with team colleagues and the central cLEAN® Academy organisation.
• Coach Directors and CVP in the usage of visual management, problem solving and process confirmation systems in order to drive effective shop-floor management.

Sparring partner

• Act as business development advisor for the CVP and his management team and support them in seeing and quantifying areas of improvement within their respective departments

Qualifications

You have an academic degree with at least 8 years of experience driving LEAN activities in a production and/or administrative environment where you have demonstrated the ability to deliver results through the involvement of key stakeholders. You have experience from a management position, or you are a skilled Senior Project Manager with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines, you master change-management and you have solid experience working with LEAN tools and as coach and trainer.

You are an inspiration to those around you and manage to challenge stakeholders in an empathic and respectful way. Having many contacts from employees to site management, across all kinds of professional backgrounds, requires excellent stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to explain complex subjects in an easy understandable way – in English written and spoken.
