We are hiring to expand our amazing team of chefs.

Our mission at Ø12 to raise the level of the cafés of Copenhagen. We care deeply about creating an amazing work environment, and a truly special experience for our guests.

We are growing fast, and in order to keep up with the increasing flow of guests, we are now looking for an additional chef. We are looking for someone experienced, intelligent and kind with great English skills, high energy and someone who enjoys a fast and busy work environment.

At Ø12 we are constantly trying to raise the bar for what a café can be, and we want someone who would enjoy joining us in that feat. You will be joining an experienced team of energetic crazies, and will be working along side passionate and kind people in the kitchen. We are looking for mainly full time, and salary will be according to experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all activities in the kitchen, including food preparation and production, and management and training of kitchen staff.
  • Ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and profitability of food production.
  • Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
  • Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner
  • Assume the role as Executive Chef when needed Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications
  • Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met Assure kitchen personnel is trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices
  • Qualifications Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room employees, and guests. Safe Food Handling
  • Certification Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and working long hours in hot conditions At least 3-4 years of experience working as a trained chef.

We do monthly staff events and activities, and we put our employees above everything else.
