Do you want to play a key role in developing our internal communication? We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Communication Manager to Global People & Organisation. Our new Communication Manager will be an internal communication expert who will advise and support our leaders and experts, drive content from a strategic perspective, and help us continuously improve communication from Global People & Organisation.

About the department

Global People & Organisation comprises around 1000 employees physically located across the globe. Our organisation consists of global centres of excellence and a Global P&O Services team that interact closely with functional HR Business Partner teams and local P&O teams. In 2018, we embarked on an ambitious journey that over the coming years will transform P&O in Novo Nordisk into one truly global function.

You will become part of our small, highly engaged P&O Communication team based in Bagsværd, Denmark, comprising the Head of P&O Communication, the Senior Communications Advisor for Culture, and a Communication Student Assistant.

The position

The position as Communication Manager in an expansion of the P&O Communication team reflecting the importance of delivering strong communication support to Global People & Organisation. As Communication Manager, your role will be to support our global Centres of Excellence and Global P&O Services and ensure communication activities are up to standard and aligned with culture and the overall P&O strategy. You will be the communication expert who helps develop and conceptualise campaigns and communication materials, and who challenges the teams to develop clear and strong communication. You will help drive content by sourcing information from colleagues globally, and you will be writing and compiling articles, videos, Yammer posts and more, and you will help promote and enforce corporate visual identity across Global P&O.

As a member of P&O Communication we expect you to bring new ideas into our work and help identify new trends and suggestions for ways of communicating. We also expect you to be able to build strong and trusting relationships with colleagues everywhere in the company in order to stay abreast of what is happening and to actively seek feedback from our many stakeholders.

Qualifications

You hold a degree in Communications, Marketing or related field and have a minimum of 5 years related experience within internal communications, preferably from a global organisation.

You are fluent in English and preferably have a working knowledge of Danish. You can juggle multiple tasks, you know how to listen actively, and you possess strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal. You have the courage and skill to challenge colleagues at all levels of the organisation in a constructive manner.

You enjoy working independently but also know when to seek advice and guidance

You have advanced knowledge of Office365, especially SharePoint, Teams and PowerPoint, as well as advanced knowledge of photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop or similar.
