As our new Communications Manager, you will join our Global Communication Center of Excellence, which is part of LEO Pharma’s Global Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability department. The core focus of our communication efforts is to further strengthen LEO Pharma’s reputation, support the company’s transformation journey and promote internal engage-ment.
The Center of Excellence is in charge of creating global communication standards and solutions as well as of developing and managing our global communication channels and corporate news flow.
Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around two focus areas:
You thrive in delivering high-quality communication!
You are a skilled communicator or journalist backed by a minimum of 3 years’ experience from working with planning and producing corporate content. You are a skilled project manager, maybe certified, and have demonstrated success in creating and implementing global communication campaigns.
You are an excellent storyteller with a strong command of English, written and spoken. Preferably you are native English speak-er. As video is a vital media for us, you are used to working with video production/editing, and you know which pictures or graphics to accompany the story. You bring a genuine interest in business and have the ability to translate a business strategy to engaging stories in line with your comprehensive master plan.
Digital communication is your home turf. You know how to utilize great content on digital platform whether it be internal channels or on LinkedIn or website. You know how to transform complex content to consumable nuggets prepared for the channels in scope; intranet, yammer, website, twitter, LinkedIn, etc.. You enjoy investigating new technologies and are able to put it into a business perspective. You are an experienced Microsoft SharePoint O365 user.
On the personal level, to succeed in the role you enjoy building network, collaborating with colleagues in all parts of the organi-zation. You are able to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape with many different agendas. You are experienced in re-sponding and prioritizing quickly, and at the same time be detail-oriented and well organized.
You will be based at either our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, or in Madison, New Jersey. You should be able and willing to travel frequently internationally when that is possible again.
You will join a team of 35 global communication, public affairs and sustainability specialists. The core focus of our communication efforts is to further strengthen LEO Pharma’s reputation, support the company’s transformation journey and promote internal engagement.

The job
Drive global communication projects and news flow
As our new Communications Manager, you will join our Global Communication Center of Excellence, which is part of LEO Pharma’s Global Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability department. The core focus of our communication efforts is to further strengthen LEO Pharma’s reputation, support the company’s transformation journey and promote internal engage-ment.
The Center of Excellence is in charge of creating global communication standards and solutions as well as of developing and managing our global communication channels and corporate news flow.
Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around two focus areas:
Drive communication projects
- Drive internal and external communication projects, either as project manager or providing ad hoc support plan, develop and follow-up on the assigned communication activities
- Produce content, events, publications and other communication materials as well as evaluations and surveys Align ex-pectations on quality and resources (time and budget) of projects and initiatives you are responsible for
Drive corporate news flow
- Responsible for the global news flow on our internal and external channels
- Manage the global communication editorial plan
- Planning, editing and producing news pieces
