Are you a talented communications professional with a flair for crafting engaging internal and external communication? Are you a strong collaborator who is passionate about driving powerful company strategies and cultural agendas across the many layers of a global business? Ambu is an international and innovative medical device company, with approximately 5,000 people around the world. We develop, produce and sell medical devices that enable healthcare professionals to save lives and improve patient care – a DNA we bring to life in all that we do, every day.
You are based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, where you will join the small and dynamic Corporate Communications team. In close collaboration with the team, you will work across a range of focus areas, such as strategy, culture, leadership, organisational changes, new company milestones, financial reporting and PR. In your role, you will work closely with Ambu’s different stakeholders – including the executive leadership – in crafting meaningful messages that position Ambu strongly internally and externally.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for crafting and producing impactful global communication concepts, strategies and materials. You will be an instrumental force in our internal communication efforts, promoting Ambu’s milestones, our executive leadership and our strategic and cultural agendas across channels, such as on our intranet and in live global town hall meetings. We work across an array of digital platforms, and so it is imperative that you are digitally savvy. Ideally, you have a knack for video production as well – or have a strong willingness to master this important tool.
In short, your main tasks will centre on:
A GLOBAL COMMUNICATOR WITH STRONG COLLABORATION SKILLS
To succeed in this position, it is essential that you are both a skilled communicator and a strong collaborator – with a sharp pen and a strategic mindset. You hold a master’s degree in communications and have minimum 3 years of experience with strategic communications, either from an international company or from a consultancy. As a person, you are an independent and hands-on person with the ability to manage all steps of a project and still think strategically on a global level. You are structured, responsible, team-oriented and outgoing. Since Ambu is a global company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration. Consequently, you must be fluent in English (written and oral) and be able to communicate efficiently.

- Crafting impactful communication strategies and material that spport our strategic and cultural agendas
- Writing engaging stories for our intranet (SharePoint platform) hat promote Ambu’s milestones and the difference we make for healthcare professionals worldwide
- Developing and driving powerful leadership communication concepts
- Producing global video messages with our CEO and executive leaders (in Adobe Premiere Pro)
- Supporting the live-streaming of our global town hall meetings (via Microsoft Teams Live Events)
