Are you interested in being a textile designer for one of the leading Live Action Role Play (LARP) companies in the world? Do you have ideas of fantasy garments that you cannot wait to try and share with the world? Are you creative, do you have a sharp eye for medieval and fantasy fashion and design paired with excellent English writing skills? Do you love creating costumes for either LARP, renfairs, or cosplay and would you love to be a part of a team of youthful and informal individuals? Then you just might be the new team member we are looking for!
As our main textile designer here at, Iron fortress, you will be taking the lead role in developing and improving our textile products and work together with other designers to create new and exciting collections collaboratively. We expect you to be able to hit the ground running, where you will be working closely with the entire Epic team at HQ, while you create awesome garments and clothes for our fantasy universes.
You will be in a unique position to shape the look and feel of many of our design universes and will be very much able to leave a long-lasting impression, not just on our collections but the players that use our products around the world!

The primary tasks and responsibilities for this position are:
- Design of new textile products
- Grading of textile products
- Working closely with designers from other fields to create a coherent character vision
- Working closely with the Iron Fortress production teams around the world
- Sourcing new materials in collaboration with our production team
- You will be responsible for documentation of usage of correct materials such as Azo free dyes and chrome content in our products.
Your skills, qualifications and interests include:
- Expert level user of Adobe Illustrator.
- Spoken and written English on an expert level.
- Self-sufficiency and the ability to take a project from idea to final product.
- Having a solid grasp of fantasy- and medieval design language.
- Having an interest in fantasy costuming and geek culture.
- Previous design experience is highly appreciated.
Training and development:
Once you start working, you will be given in-house training by our team to understand our:
- Organization and culture
- It-systems and planning tools
- Design systems and project management software
