UMEUS is version 2.0 of the student co-living experience. UMEUS is all about community and very inch of UMEUS is purposefully designed to provide the best foundation for students to grow and succeed.
UMEUS is designed around the traditional dorm co-living concept. Taking the core community components from popular dorms and upgrading them to a modern setting. This means specially designed and furnished private rooms and bathrooms, upgraded hallway community kitchens plus extensive additional shared community space. Such as functional gyms, study zones, lounge areas, café, laundry and more.
UEMUS is part of NREP NREP is a real estate company that invests, develops, operates – and innovates – to make real estate better.
The team
You will be part of our UMEUS Team, which is responsible for the development, opening and operations of UMEUS. We have several sites in pipeline and will open the doors for students to live at two attractive locations in Copenhagen this year: UMEUS Amager and UMEUS Nordhavn. There are currently 8 colleagues in the team, and you will report to the COO of UMEUS.
The position
The Community Manager is responsible for a smooth and efficient operation of UMEUS Amager. As a community manager you will also take lead in fostering and enabling a strong community among the students.

About you:
You have minimum 5 years’ leadership experience from student housing or the hotel industry with a passion for service.
You inspire and lead the way with high level of energy and with overview and eye for the details.
As a person you are fun to work with, takes responsibility, is outgoing and positive. You have a hands-on mentality and good collaboration skills.
Fluent in Danish and English

Your overall responsibilities
Launch:
- Practical day-to-day on-site person for the launch of UMEUS Amager
- Participate in the pre-opening team of UMEUS Amager
- Setup procedures, SOPs, guidelines and systems
- Pre-sales (showings, waitlist management, answer questions from students)
Site management:
- Responsibility for every aspects of the site to secure optimal operations
- Help the students in all aspects from practical tasks to social life
- Enables a strong community and student housing environment
- Responsible for leading the site team
- Responsible for property administration, letting management and waitlist
- Present the site to new students, parents and others
- Responsible for Café operations
- Coordinate outsourced services such as cleaning and facility services
- Manages all internal and external communications and handles student and guest feedback
- Makes sure that the site is always presentable and professional
- Opex budget responsibility include managing cost conscious operations
About you:
