Are you looking for an opportunity to use your excellent skills as a scientific communicator? Are you good at building strong relationships with stakeholders and do you enjoy putting your didactic presentation style into action? Then join us in Device R&D as a Technical Writer, and use your skills to ensure patient safety and best practice.

About the department
The New Platform Development department is a project organisation, which resides at the intersection between Conceptual Research and Life Cycle Management. Our department is a part of Novo Nordisk Device Research & Development, which is the area responsible for the development of medical devices for medical self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S.

Exploiting new technologies, our aim is to provide more and improved options for pharmaceutical delivery to people living with diabetes or other chronic diseases, as well as their healthcare professionals.

You will join a dynamic, international, innovative environment situated in Hillerød, where highly skilled professionals work closely together to develop next generation medical devices.

The position
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for planning, managing and preparing submission documents for clinical trial and marketing authorization applications. You will ensure high-quality scientific writing for all interactions with health authorities, and you have the ability to integrate cross-functional information meaningfully and under time-constraints.
You will work in close collaboration with regulatory affairs engineers, medical doctors, systems engineers and risk managers to bring all the pieces together that describe our medical devices for health authority review. While your key responsibilities will revolve around preparing these key documents for regulatory submission, you will also be expected to actively contribute to process improvements and other opportunities for increasing efficiency - for example in processes for interacting with health authorities.

Qualifications
You hold an academic degree in a biomechanical/biological/pharmaceutical science or medicine (PhD, MSc or equivalent) and have a demonstrated talent and genuine interest in scientific communication in English. Experience within pharmaceutical quality assurance, regulatory affairs or pharmaceutical manufacturing development would make you an attractive candidate. It is considered an advantage if you have an understanding of device development and MDR.

You consider yourself to have strong analytical competencies and you are able to present in a structured, clear and accurate way. You have a good eye for detail and logical structure, and you are used to working with datasets. You have high ethical standards and are able to prioritise your tasks and rise to challenges.

You thrive in a multicultural environment of continuous development, and you are good at establishing contact, communicating, collaborating with colleagues, as well as challenging them. You have strong planning, and project management skills and you can keep a good sense of humour even when the pressure gets high.

We expect you to be fluent in both written and spoken English, and you are an experienced user of MS Office.
