Do you have a proactive approach to supporting senior leaders in bringing strategic messages across to employees around the world through targeted communication? And are you an experienced intranet manager who can write compelling articles and develop our global news on the intranet and who has a strong focus on measurement and analysis? The position
You will become part of a small team that works dedicatedly with corporate communications, public relations and branding. You will play a vital role in communicating ALK’s corporate agendas internally to keep our employees worldwide informed and engaged. Advisory to the executive leadership team is an important task, and so is the communication to our senior leaders across the business. You will also get the opportunity to work with both social media and public relations as we prioritise to work together as a team and support each other. You will report to the Director of Corporate Communications & Branding.

Your areas of responsibility

  • Be a driving force in developing our internal communication across global channels
  • Develop the global news page on our intranet to ensure continuous relevance and engagement
  • Drive and execute on internal communication deliverables and projects, incl. writing and prof-reading articles
  • Support the internal global communication towards our senior leaders
  • Be a strategic communications advisor to our executive leadership team
  • Handle the internal day-to-day communication inquiries from the global organisation
  • Create a strong measurement and analysis setup for our internal communication and create continuous data insights on our performance
  • Take active part in editorial meetings and generate ideas for stories and other strategic communication
  • Support the quarterly financial announcements with internal communication and drive and execute on the quarterly global townhalls.

Your background
You are a strong communicator in internal communication, you have experience with communication measurements, and you possess a sharp business acumen. You can translate and explain complicated matters clearly and simply and in a compelling way. Furthermore, you are a persistent networker and a respected stakeholder manager and can forge links throughout the company to source great stories and elicit expert input.

In addition, we expect you to bring

  • A relevant master's degree in communication
  • 3-5 years of experience in communication at corporate level with an international organisation
  • A versatile communications toolbox and a solid understanding of strategic communication
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • A vast experience in working with Sharepoint intranet
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high drive and a can-do attitude
  • Proactive and structured
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite
  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge will be an advantage.
