Praktik - København K
Maersk is a global leader in integrated container logistics working to connect and simplify our customers’ supply chains. And we are in the middle of an industry-defining transformation that will change the way global trade moves and contribute to a sustainable future.
It’s a big moment for all of us – and as part of our global communications team you will have a strong part to play. Are you ready to join the transformation?
A.P. Moller - Maersk is looking for an Internal Communications Advisor & Editor to join our internal communications team.
The industry dynamics around container logistics is changing at a rapid pace and as such, Maersk, as industry leader, is changing too.
The Corporate Communications function in Maersk is tasked with safeguarding the reputation of Maersk and telling the Maersk story to audiences internally and externally.
This is a terrific opportunity to help shape our internal channels and help us to provide the best possible channels to ensure internal teams have good channels to communicate with each other and to the wider Maersk.
You will also be part of an innovative, fun, dynamic and global team!
You will be a key contributor towards keeping employees engaged and informed about the strategy and transformation of Maersk, by enabling our leadership to be great communicators and developing high quality content directed towards employee audiences.
At Maersk we value the diversity of our talent and will always strive to recruit the best person for the job – we value diversity in all its forms, including but not limited to: gender, age, nationality, race, sexual orientation, disability or religious beliefs.
We are proud of our diversity and see it as a genuine source of strength for building high performing teams.
Reporting to our Head of Internal Communications, you will be working out of Copenhagen – but your workplace will be the world as you will have daily and close interaction with colleagues everywhere.
In this role, you will be a key contributor towards keeping people engaged and informed about the strategy and transformation of Maersk, by developing high-quality content, mainly directed towards our 80,000+ colleagues globally.
Together with your colleagues in the internal communications team, you will be part of setting the direction for our content creation and collaborating across the global organisation to identify and tell business relevant stories.
The internal communications team works in a flexible and agile way to support the business and corporate functions where they need us most, and hence every day is different.
One day you may be working to support a key change project in the business impacting the wider organisation, while the next day you are writing stories for our company magazine or creating the script for a leadership podcast.
The ideal candidate has a BA degree in Communications, Business, or other related discipline combined with solid experience supporting senior stakeholders with their communication needs and deliver high-quality output.
You have excellent editorial and proofreading skills, ideally with a background in corporate communications or journalism with a minimum of five years of experience.
You are a dedicated writer and passionate storyteller with the ability to turn sometimes complex topics into appealing stories and make people want to engage with content on our platforms.
You are creative, have a digital-first approach and master the various disciplines of strategic storytelling, from written articles, to social media posts and video and podcast scripts.
You know what it takes to capture the interest of an audience, and you are persistent in your efforts to identify and develop stories about our strategic transformation.
Further more you:
• Have strong storytelling skills and the ability to simplify complex and technical topics
• Are an independent contributor and self-starter who takes ownership of assignments and sees them to completion with minimal supervision
• Are approachable and social – we’re a colourful and diverse team with big ambitions, high energy and plenty of fun
