- to lead and realize the potential of B2B Marketing through a Growth Marketing approach with great reliance on MarTech.

You’ll work with senior leaders and experts in the business to develop and deliver on our Marketing strategy, increase awareness of DFDS, generate leads for the sales organization and activate new innovative e-commerce transport solutions. You will be managing our Demand Generation team, consisting of digital marketers and project managers, drive projects that deliver tangible value to the freight and logistics business with the aim to grow new business and increase DFDS activities in the market.

Main responsibilities

Key to the role is your ability to drive the growth and impact of our B2B Marketing area in collaboration with Digital and the Sales Organization plus other senior stakeholders – and manage an end-to-end B2B lead generation process. You’ll develop the capabilities for omnichannel marketing across Social, Paid Search, SEO and Email/Marketing Automation, including appropriate governance and processes around channels.

A solid Growth Marketing approach is the key to your success in this job – along with the ability to really execute your strategy hands-on!

  • Drive inbound strategies and deliver thought leadership programs
  • Activate digital products, such as e-commerce solutions for freight and logistics with strategic business areas
  • Work with Demand Gen’s sister team, Brand & Creative Services, to help plan, prioritize and ensure content production is aligned with campaign objectives and target audience
  • Champion a data-driven approach, empowering the team to formulate hypothesis for activities generating insights about messaging
  • Measure and improve effectiveness of marketing initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

Being Omnichannel Marketing Manager requires excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills, a close to nerdy passion for marketing and B2B topics, an analytical mindset and probably a good sense of humor. As a people manager, you must be structured and result-oriented while taking a genuine interest in the development of the team.

Additionally, we look for:

  • A holistic understanding of MarTech’s role in improving marketing activities and customer experience, exhibiting profound experience with relevant systems and tools, like CEM/CRM, CMS, Digital Analytics tools, Email/Marketing Automation platforms, Social Media Management, and Paid Media tools.
  • A degree in Marketing, Digital or Business or professional qualification

  • A proven marketing leader with experience from working within a large international organization
  • Excellent understanding of B2B marketing and its role in growing sales
