We are looking for a new communications partner for our EVP of Ferry and EVP of Technology and Innovation
Are you passionate about leadership communication and translating business strategy into concrete and meaningful action? Here is a unique opportunity to communicate the growth and transformation of DFDS and our transition towards a greener future.
Placed in Copenhagen and reporting to the Head of Group Communications, you will be part of a team of 7 people.
The team is responsible for developing and executing media, digital, and social media initiatives, leadership communications, communications advisory, and internal communications, aiming to protect and improve DFDS' reputation and support its business strategy.

Key responsibilities
You will develop and drive comprehensive communications for the Ferry and Technology & Innovation business units in DFDS.
The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who brings a creative storytelling sensibility to every project. You have a strong track record in producing high-quality, crisp messaging and presentations for senior executives, a demonstrated ability to work with confidential information, exemplary organisational skills, and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail while working on several projects simultaneously.

Other areas of responsibility:
- Ensure strategic business priorities are communicated effectively in internal news and on DFDS group SoMe channels
- Develop leadership communications skills
- Drive and plan change communications skills
- Advise colleagues on the MS365 application of internal communication
- Support planning and execution of all staff meetings
- Continuously improve communication effectiveness, e.g. via communication review
The ideal candidate
- Holds a master degree or equivalent in journalism, communications or business administration with +5 years of experience within strategic communications - preferably with a large international or listed company
- Has outstanding verbal and written English communication skills
- Is an experienced communications advisor
- Has a strategic mindset and are quick to gain in-depth business understanding
- Is ambitious and proactively influences decisions to enable efficient and engaging communication
- Has experience developing MS Sharepoint pages and Teams channels.
- Works calmly and maintains good judgment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Has substantial stakeholder management experience and likes working with a broad range of stakeholders
- Loves to work in a team and has fun while doing it
