This is an exciting opportunity for a data driven individual looking to lead a global team of professionals dedicated to direct customer database marketing.

Reporting into the Head of Engagement Marketing, you will have the chance to manage personalised engagement strategies for upper funnel marketing communications primarily across email and app distribution channels. With your knowledge of database marketing, you can help keep our customers engaged with the brand and build relationships with them as well as initiate database growth strategies. You'll be instrumental in helping the business drive personalised engagement with key customer segments and improving the overall experience.

We are looking for a skilled marketing professional with 5+ years’ extensive experience in CRM activity, content strategy and database management. It is fundamental that you are positive, optimistic, and energetic, looking to join a team of like-minded individuals, each with different skill sets, working together towards a common goal. The preferred candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of email marketing and database engagement to optimise the customer journey to drive commercial results. Alongside experience of multiple language engagement marketing activity and data and analytics reporting. Naturally excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role, combined with knowledge and experience of Agile working practices. Experience of Customer Data Platform (CDP) martech usage is desirable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the engagement strategy for upper funnel marketing communications across email, app, and other developing platforms.
  • Leverage marketing automation tools to develop promotional and informational content strategies that maximise customer retention and acquisition.
  • Support global Engagement team on segmenting databases across all locations.
  • Collaborate with Technology & Innovation colleagues to develop and manage the customer database for passenger use and its connection to martech systems – ESP, CDP, Data Warehouse.
  • Oversee compliant data capture processes.
  • Analyse performance data to determine ways to optimize and improve conversion and customer retention.
  • Ensuring a ‘test and learn’ approach to content and processes within engagement development.
  • Develop initiatives to grow the direct customer database.
