Job Description
Danfoss Cooling is looking for a Production Technology Manager for High Pressure Pumps (HPP). HPP supplies pumps, valves and energy recovery devices to a global market, and we are on an interesting journey to transfer the business unit into a high-performing business operating in a high-growth environment.
As our new Production Technology Manager, you will lead a team of five manufacturing engineers who support operations, as well as, our maintenance department consisting of two maintenance specialists - all located in Nordborg. Moreover, you will become a member of the Supply Chain Management team and Product teams. You will be responsible for the development of manufacturing processes within the scope of production technology.

Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you have experience with production technology and leadership of small teams. You have a technical background as a mechanical engineer or technician, which makes you familiar with machining and assembly processes. Your success will depend on your ability to prioritize according to Danfoss operational prioritizations: Safety, quality, delivery and cost. Your focus will be to develop employees, to harmonize the team and to organize support to both running production and projects.
We expect you to take part in developing our Supply Chain Strategy and executing the strategy in time to meet our growth targets. Other key tasks and responsibilities will include:
Your extraordinary drive and energy allow you to be proactive and stay ahead of the curve. You act in the job as a trusted advisor, by being a good listener and asking the right questions. Last, but not least, you have great communication skills and are fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.

- Lead and develop the production technology department
- Develop procedures and processes complying with TS (Quality Standard)
- Automate and optimize our production set-up.
- Develop technologies, including optimizing existing equipment as well as taking the lead in buying new equipment
- Run optimization projects
- Deliver resources to projects related to supply chain, new product variants and new product development
- Take actions to improve quality and productivity
- Be a key player in developing and executing our strategy to meet future demand.
