The maternity cover runs from now to August 2023. You can work remotely or at one of our offices in Lyngby, Aarhus, Odense, or Aalborg.

In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with Thomas Grøndorf, Head of Internal Communication. Your finest task in our team will be to deliver translation and language expertise to senior management and the business across the COWI Group.

REALISE YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with Thomas Grøndorf, Head of Internal Communication. Your finest task in our team will be to deliver translation and language expertise to senior management and the business across the COWI Group.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Translate journalistic and, possibly financial and legal, texts for management between Danish and English (e.g., press releases, web articles, internal newsletters, the annual report and annual general meeting)
- Translate technical and, possibly financial and legal, texts for the business between Danish and English (e.g., technical reports, contracts, proposals)
- Provide language review of internal and external texts for management or the business
- Ensure consistent use of terminology and tone-of-voice in internal texts, e.g., according to our company guidelines and policy
- Facilitate contact between the business and other language competencies across COWI

Furthermore, you should:
- Hold a master's degree in English business communication, or similar
- Be fluent in Danish and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Skills in Swedish or Norwegian is a plus
- Have more than five years of experience with translation and language review of technical and journalistic texts
- Hold domain terminology in several of COWI's fields of expertise, e.g., urban planning, data centres, buildings, railways or environment
