Student Assistant for Global IT Communication
Do you want to be involved with many stakeholders? Do you want to create and drive a communication plan? Are you passionate about communication with a global outreach, and do you have excellent organizing skills?
Then we have the perfect student job for you in our global IT environment. Here, you will add value to Global IT by being responsible for key communication activities across the organisation and you will be supporting the IT Management team on regular basis. As such, you will play a role in improving various initiatives around supporting and developing communication activities.
Be in charge of the communication – AND have a lot of fun
Joining our Strategy and Portfolio Management Department at our office in Smørum, you will be part of a dedicated and ambitious team. We are supporting the IT Management team and we are dedicated to accelerating the digital agenda at Demant, advising on best practices, prioritizing the right initiatives and running key IT projects across Global IT.
One of your primary tasks will be to take ownership of Monthly newsletter, by gathering stories around Global IT. You will also be writing the editorial together with our CIO as well as be in charge of editing and publishing the newsletter. Apart from overseeing our Global IT Newsletter, you can look forward to the following responsibility:
- Our new intranet for Global IT, by: Facilitating the editorial board, supporting the maintenance, and ensuring continuous improvement
- Our Annual Wheel for recuring activities in Global IT, by: Planning and keeping track of key activities across Global IT, preparing presentations, and supporting the IT Management with execution the activities
- As you develop in your role you will also support prioritized projects with communication activities: It could be,
- Defining the best way to keep attention to e.g., new cyber security initiatives
- Creating a communication plan for the roll-out of an IT project
- Communicating the progress of the IT strategy
You will work 16-20 hours per week. We are flexible in scheduling your hours, especially during your exam periods, and we also offer you great flexibility regarding working remotely.

We are looking for a student assistant with strong communication skills and digital curiosity as well as someone who will bring passion to the job and who has a willingness to learn. Furthermore, you must be able to cooperate as well as see possibilities and act on them. You have a curious and outgoing mindset and can work independently with a wide set of tasks.
The ideal candidate has insight or experience that matches the primary tasks. Also, we expect you to have a strong interest in IT and digital technologies.
You are studying a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Communication, Business or similar. You live for communication; you have a creative mind and the ability to transform ideas into practice. We want to leverage our existing community platforms to tie our IT community stronger together. Because coordinating, planning and executing are important parts of your main responsibilities we expect you to work in a structured manner, and further to see that you are good at following up on tasks until you have crossed the finish line. At the same time, we would appreciate a strong will to interact with all our stakeholders in a respectful, involving and engaging manner.
