The aim of the Medical Writing Graduate Programme is to give you extensive exposure to the role as a Medical Writer (MW) with a strong focus on competencies such as scientific understanding, data interpretation, communication and stakeholder management skills. As a Medical Writing Graduate, you will gain a deep understanding of our company, our business, and our company values as well as build a strong international network of professional and dedicated colleagues.

About the Medical Writing graduate programme
The two-year programme consists of three rotations in different parts of the Global Development organisation or areas with strong ties to Global Development.

You will be in charge of preparing clinical documents mainly intended for regulatory authorities. You will discover different therapy areas, get insight into clinical development as well as the different life cycle stages of a drug development project. As a Medical Writer you must be capable of driving the writing process and manage the many different stakeholders involved.

You will get a unique insight into the full value chain in Global Development, and you will be part of a highly skilled and motivated international working environment, with dynamic teams, each of which are providing Novo Nordisk with a competitive edge.

You will enjoy the privilege of being part of both formal and informal graduate networks which will allow you to broaden your learnings even further, while building your opportunities and relationships across the company.

The position

During the 2-year programme you will undertake three challenging and exciting international rotations of 8-months duration.

The first rotation is planned to take place within Medical Writing in our corporate headquarter in Denmark.

The second rotation is planned to be in our Medical Writing office in India.

The third rotation will take place in an area outside Medical Writing most likely in headquarters, Denmark.

Qualifications

To apply for the Medical Writing graduate programme, you must have:

  • A relevant master’s degree within natural sciences from 2019 or 2020, with above average academic achievements
  • International experience, for example from studying a full semester abroad, working or volunteering
  • Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies
  • International outlook and ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and stakeholder management skills and an eagerness to learn
  • Professional fluency in English and globally mobile
