Are you looking for an exciting hands-on learning opportunity to supplement your studies? Join us as an Intern in Novo Nordisk and get an opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in a multidisciplinary, international team. You will be involved in a variety of projects where communication is a central aspect. This is a unique learning experience and a chance for you to turn theory into practice.
About the department
As an Intern, you will be working closely with experienced Project Managers with different backgrounds. You will be part of a dynamic team called Strategic Operations, part of Global Medical Affairs which is a unit in R&D at Novo Nordisk. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders, we develop and execute internal and external training, events and communication to support our medical colleagues worldwide. We work with a wide variety of communications methods, channels and platforms, often in cooperation with external specialists.
The position
During your internship, you will take ownership of a wide variety of tasks e.g. writing news articles or be involved in video production, building intranet pages or planning virtual communication sessions. You will be responsible for coordinating activities and supporting engagement of stakeholders in connection large internal training events, both virtually and face-to-face. Furthermore, you will work closely with a range of external vendors and partners. We are constantly developing our communications methods and your ideas and suggestions will be welcome.
- Internship period: 6-8 months
- Working hours: 37 hours a week
- Start date: August/September, 2020
- Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
- A Danish full-time work permit is required
- Enrolment in a BSc. or MSc. study program is required
Qualifications
We are looking for an Intern with a strong interest in communication, event planning and digital media. Experience with TV production or editorial processes is a plus. You are currently attending the final year of your Bachelor’s or have started your Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Education, Innovation or another relevant field. You have an eye for detail, excellent writing and video editing skills and you are comfortable with a mix of operational tasks and independent projects. We expect you to master English verbally as well as in writing and be able to handle a large volume of tasks (with supervision).
As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work.
