The position As the Communication Lead in DEI, you will drive our communication agenda and be expected to: Design the communication strategy & communication packages for creating transparency and organisational buy-in to the incoming acquired assets and companies
Design the communication packages towards the acquired companies
Preparing key messages, presentations and producing creative content for our internal platforms, such as articles, video updates and Yammer posts
Create awareness on our innovation efforts externally, such as LinkedIn posts and other channels
Maintain strong link with corporate development
You will have the opportunity to shape the content of your job by being proactive, creative, hungry for more and keeping a finger on the pulse of the organisation and the communication profession. Your help is crucial to keep up the pace of developing engaging communications both internally in Development, across the rest of Novo Nordisk, and externally. The job can offer frequent senior management interaction and engagements across the organisation, allowing you to build a strong network, while further strengthening your communication and project management skills. You will report to the Director of Portfolio, Comm and Organisational Readiness, while being part of the Novo Nordisk Global Communicators’ Network and other informal networks. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you: Hold an education from a relevant field combined with minimum 5 years of experience as a communication professional, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry.
Have been part of or responsible for driving communication campaigns in supporting inorganic growth strategies.
Have been responsible for driving strategic communication projects yourself and experience in change communication will also be considered a plus.
You know the Office 365 features by heart (including SharePoint, Yammer, Teams), and you master creating visually appealing presentations, videos and articles that catch the interest of the audience.
It will be a plus if you are gifted with abilities to work with new communication formats such as e.g., video editing and other digital formats.
As a person you embody the essence of a strategic thinker, channelling your ambition into the realm of communication. Your approach to tasks is both independent and results-driven, characterized by a harmonious blend of structure, energy, curiosity, and an unwavering positive attitude. Fluency in spoken and written English further enriches your skill set. You enjoy delivering on everyday communication with short deadlines as much as being responsible for developing and implementing larger strategic internal communication initiatives and events across Development. As the same time, you think and act as a trusted sparring partner by providing competent input to colleagues on best communication solutions and use of channels. About the department Development External Innovation is a newly formed department in the Development EVP area. The department supports Development and Corporate Development in internalizing external innovation covering all attributes constituting the final pharmaceutical treatment solution. The support involves: innovation, assessments, due diligence, integration, and alliance management. We aspire to make Novo Nordisk Development the preferred partner for external organizations.
