This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of LEO Pharma’s journey to help more people achieve healthy skin and to play a vital role in helping LEO Pharma and Global IT navigate an increasing project portfolio.
As Project Portfolio Consultant, you are working in close collaboration with Business IT Leads, Programme- or Project Managers to ensure solid Planning, Reporting, Governance, RAID, Financial Management to ensure a consolidated view on CIO portfolio level.
This is done through weekly meetings with Business IT Leads and Program Managers and by querying the current reports and dashboards in our PPM tool. Bi-annually, you build the proposed portfolio scenarios together with Business IT Leads and Program managers and present to CIO Leadership Team as input for the IT strategy planning and portfolio prioritization.
As such your overall responsibilities are:
Report the full financial budget & forecast and project health overview to CIO Leadership Team. Report consolidated scenarios from sub-portfolios to the CIO Leadership team for prioritization of projects. Audit the full Global IT project portfolio in order to consolidate scenarios and improve data quality. Execute CIO Leadership team decisions on the portfolio management. Be responsible for the overall governance of IT projects Manage the portfolio of IT projects in LEO Pharma including frequent reporting to IT management and hosting weekly portfolio status meetings with key stakeholders Facilitate the yearly IT strategy process Act as management consultant, planning and executing tasks typical related to continuous improvement of how to run IT projects, driving strategic themes from the PMO or facilitating benchmarks analysis.
Contribute in optimizing the execution of projects and programs in Global IT
As Project Portfolio Consultant you are located in the PMO Department which is a part of Project & Portfolio Management (PPM). PPM manages 93 projects organized in 12 Programs – the vast majority is directly linked to LEO Pharma’s Business areas and are key to delivering on our 2025 Strategy. The environment within PPM is characterized by ambition, high pace, pragmatism and the will to succeed through collaboration. We care about each other and strive to have fun; particularly while being busy.
Besides PMO the PPM area consist of Programme Management, Project Management, Process Management, Organizational Change Management and Portfolio Management. PPM itself is one of four areas forming Global IT in LEO Pharma.
You will work close together with various stakeholders at various management levels inside and outside Global IT. Frequent exposure for senior management is an element in facilitating the CIO Leadership and portfolio meetings and the IT strategy process.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a person with minimum 3-5 years of experience working with IT and that you have relevant bachelor’s degree or more. You have a structured and analytical approach to solving problems and a talent for identifying pragmatic solutions. You are strong in communication, team- and relation building and provide tangible results. Last but not least you support knowledge sharing also by exposing yourself.
On a personal note you are curious (people, problems, yourself) and appreciate the need to understand before advising. You are passionate and inspire people around you. You have a high level of integrity and communicate respectfully. You are open and trustworthy and most important serve as a good role model.
