This is a new role in the team, and as M&A consultant you will get to be part of the M&A team working in all our acquisitions. You will join our Group Strategy and M&A department As our M&A consultant you will be part of an international team with diversity in age, gender, educational and professional backgrounds. The Group M&A team is responsible for ensuring the strategic fit, proper process and quality in all our acquisitions – in close collaboration with the business owners. Together with the Group Strategy and Group Post Merger Integration teams, the M&A team forms the basis of the Executive Office which is responsible for key strategic priorities. Key tasks in the role: M&A target identification & screening Support the identification and evaluation of potential M&A acquisition targets by coordinating the collection of background data on the possible targets, and assessing the overall attractiveness and alignment with business segment and group strategy Communication with external advisors and business introducers Coordinating contacts to potential target companies M&A project management (acquisitions, joint ventures, divestments) Assisting in the execution of M&A, JV, divestment transactions Support the development of business cases, financial forecasts and valuation for each transaction together with the strategy and business segment teams Assisting the due diligence and managing process between internal dd teams and external counterparties Managing transaction timetables Communicating with internal stakeholders and external advisers Assisting in preparing project presentations with recommendations and proposals for internal decision making Maintaining various databases Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: Your starting point for A master’s degree, or equivalent, in engineering, finance, business, economics, law or a related field Relevant work experience with corporate development function in a multinational corporation, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, transaction advisory services or law firm dealing with cross-border transactions or equivalent experience Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: goal oriented team player with a very strong drive, allowing you to work independently as well as in a true global team environment on multiple work streams Welcome to our Corporate Functions In Ramboll’s Corporate Functions, we are passionate about ensuring that Ramboll fulfils its commitments to clients, employees and society at large and a sustainable development of our business.
