As a senior Organizational Development Consultant you will play a vital role in the people agenda in Xellia and help us build a future ready, more resilient and truly thriving organization in a fast changing world.
Xellia Pharmaceuticals is a specialty pharmaceutical company providing important anti-infective treatments against serious and often life-threatening infections. The position is placed at our Copenhagen Headquarter. The priority is for you to support the Copenhagen site, but you should expect to be involved in various global, strategic initiatives deriving from the Xellia People Strategy.
Key responsibilities
You will serve as an internal consultant, coach, expert, thought leader and facilitator of organizational change, psycho-social wellbeing and leadership development. Your responsibilities will be:
- Change and Transformation: Your role will be to build strength that helps Xellians creatively and confidently navigate dynamic times.
- You will be involved in local change processes, supporting leaders and employees directly.
- Furthermore, you will be an advisor to the leadership team to help orchestrate change and design processes and spaces that help people successfully cope with, adapt to and evolve with transformation.
- Psycho-Social Working conditions: You will contribute with subject matter expertise and practice ownership to deliver programs, concepts and solutions that accelerate the psycho-social wellbeing agenda in Xellia.
- As our champion, you will ensure strong leadership buy-in to the agenda
- You will conceptualize and drive the agenda under the motto “Be well, work well”.
- You will build awareness and help leaders take the necessary steps to ensure a health promoting environment where individuals thrive and teams flourish.
- You will help implement and follow up on our new intelligent listening tool “Voice of Xellia”
- You will work with colleagues in EHS to help spot, react to and prevent any psycho-social work hazards.
- Leadership Development: You will help leaders in Xellia foster a psychologically safe workplace. A main priority will be to build a balanced business culture in which high performance goes hand in hand with creating the right conditions for psycho-social wellbeing, development and growth.
- One of your key contributions will be to help leaders to take time to listen to how employees feel about their work and their working environment and equip them to respond early and act in ways that prevent stress
- You will also be one of the facilitators in our global leadership development program “License to Lead”
- Process consultation and Coaching: You will support teams, leaders and individuals at the Copenhagen site with team interventions that strengthen team dynamics, resolve conflict or elevate trust, performance and collaboration. In addition, you will support leaders with strategies, coaching and advice related to psycho-social incidents, stress and psycho-social wellbeing.
In your global role as part of the global Organizational Effectiveness Team, you will work alongside other senior OE consultants based out of Copenhagen, Cleveland, Budapest and Zagreb. The work of the OE team spans organizational change, leadership development, team effectiveness, learning and growth culture, career and talent development etc. In a vibrant labor market you will help ideate, initiate and drive initiatives and solutions that create a positive employee experience and makes Xellia a rewarding place to work.
Professional Background and competencies
You hold a Master’s degree within business psychology, HR or similar. You have minimum 5-10 years of experience within the fields HR development or Organizational Effectiveness as an internal or external consultant.
In addition, you:
- Have insight and experience in driving and catalyzing large scale change processes
- Are well versed in all phases of the solution generation process – from research, needs analysis, ideation to design, implementation and evaluation.
- Have extensive experience with coaching, process facilitation, conflict resolution and training
- Have vast experience in identifying development needs, designing and conducting different interventions or initiatives that address identified needs
- Have global experience and have worked across functions and geographies in progressive international organizations.
- Have extensive experience providing OD support and acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and senior management.
- Have demonstrated thought leadership within the fields of psycho-social wellbeing, behavior change, design thinking, leadership, culture, team effectiveness and engagement.

- Are analytically strong, with an ability to challenge the existing and contribute with new innovative ideas based on thorough research and benchmark.
- Quickly move between strategy and operational delivery modus. You equally like to work both strategically, be hands on and engage with people to offer support with their problems or challenges
- Demonstrate an agile mindset and you are comfortable in ambiguity
- Are accountable to results and dialogic and collaborative in your approach.
