Do you want to be part of DLG’s upcoming journey towards a group common business platform on SAP BW & S/4 on HANA with Business Objects on top? We are developing and harmonizing our reporting suite and are therefore looking for a new colleague.
DLG Group IT Solutions consists of approximately 30 internal solution consultants and developers being responsible for designing, building and implementing our future solutions.
On the technological edge for business harmonization
SAP has been the core business solution in both DLG and our German company HaGe for several years, and we are about to merge these into a new, group common S/4 HANA solution. DLG is already running BW on HANA with Business Objects Webi reports on top, and we are about to start the migration of the HaGe BW on to the BW on HANA.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new BI Solution Consultant your role is to understand BI business requirements and based on your SAP knowledge transform these into robust reporting solutions. You will be involved throughout the whole process from ideas to design, modelling, test and implementation as well as subsequent support and maintenance in close dialogue with colleagues in the BI Business Team.
Our expectations
You have at least 3 years of SAP BW experience and preferably also SAP Business Objects. BW on HANA experience is a clear advantage, but not a pre-requisite. Ideally you have experience from technical disciplines working with Extractors, InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Data Sources, ADSOs and Transformations as well as Master Data, Process Chains, Authorisations and HANA Views plus front-end technologies like query design, BEx Analyser and Business Objects Webi report development.
You are analytical and self-motivating by nature with ability to take lead in your tasks. You have good communication skills which you demonstrate in dialogues with both business and technical colleagues. As we will introduce agile delivery methods, experience herein is also an advantage.
We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English. Solid Danish and/or German skills is an advantage.
In this position you will have the possibility to work from our offices in either Fredericia, Aarhus, Copenhagen or Kiel, but as future project activities are expected to be centered around our future headquarter in Fredericia and the BI business team partly based in Copenhagen, you should expect 50-70 days per year working from one or both of these locations.
