Video Producer at Demant Digital Learning
As our new Video Producer, you will be part of the Digital Learning team within the Global Training Department consisting of four dedicated colleagues. The team plays a key role in driving our business forward by delivering state-of-the-art digital learning solutions. This ensures that the Demant Hearing Group organizations globally are equipped with appealing educational content for an internal audience which enable them to meet our customers and sell Demant solutions in a professional and compelling manner.
The Job
Taking on this job, you will be a key part of an agile working team dedicated to delivering high quality digital and virtual learning content to an international audience.
As a part of the Digital Learning team, you will take on the responsibility of our video production unit. You will have control over our video production assets, incl a fully equipped studio space.
You will also be a driving force in developing new and exciting formats for our internal and external audiences.
Your role will be multifaceted, and you will have the opportunity to work with everything from studio broadcasting to developing concepts for running live events, streaming to various online platforms, and recording engaging video content.
As Demant is a truly international group, versioning will also be a focus point for the Video Producer.
Main Tasks and responsibilities
- Calibration, preparation and optimization of video recording equipment
- Maintenance and updating of video recording equipment and studio space
- Coordination and allocation of video production resources
- Production planning and scripting
- Video production in studio as well as with mobile set-up
- Video journalism
- Live production of streamed events incl setting up links and monitoring stream during events
- Sound engineering
- Video editing including colour grading, audio tracks, subtitling
- Uploading and distribution through various channels
- Versioning to various languages (subtitles/screen text/voiceover)
- Assisting, training and counselling local content producers in the global organization on above mentioned tasks and responsibilities
- Management of third-party providers and suppliers
The Candidate
You have a relevant education within video production and editing or video journalism. You have some years of experience from related jobs. You have excellent communication skills, and you have experience-based knowledge of the A-Z of video production. You are also experienced in production and editing tools including but not limited to:
- vMix
- Adobe premiere pro
- Adobe aftereffects
You have the tools and skills needed to produce, edit and distribute high quality video content.
You know the full production value-chain and can deliver end-to-end. From developing a brief, to writing a script, to filming and post-production.
You have experience with video as a media for learning delivery.
You know what formats are needed and how to optimize them for different media and channels.
You are an independent contributor and self-starter who takes ownership of assignments and sees them to completion with minimal supervision.
You are flexible and resilient with the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic atmosphere and manage multiple priorities.
You have a hands-on, can-do attitude and willing to propose and try something new.
You are fluent in English.
