Scan Granitt AS, Sandefjord, Norway, is looking for a natural stone countertop installer.

Job description

We produce and install countertops in natural stone, quartz composite and sintered stone, in private homes and on larger projects across the Southern part of Norway. We have seperate teams of production workers and installers, and are now looking for installers. Currently, 11 people work with installations.

We have a modern production facility set up in 2015, with highly automated machines and an efficient production line. Installers work in temas of two people. Work invloves travelling quite far distances, and installers normally install countertops in two or three locations each day.

We are currently looking for people with similar type of work within the natural stone industry, in either Norway or other countries in Europe.

Skills

The work language in production is English, and good English speaking skills is a requirement. We also want that installers learn to speak Norwegian when coming to Norway, but do not require that you speak Norwegian from start. The work requires millimeter precision and a high degree of attention to details. You will be given the required training about our routines and way of work, both in theory and in practice.

Working hours

Work hours will be 10 hours per day, four days per week, plus paid overtime. Alternatively, we might offer work on a rotation with 2 weeks of work an 1 week off, with 54 hours of work on work weeks.

Start date 01.10.2023 or to be agreed.

Salary NOK 220 - 250 pr. hour

Other information

We are located only 5 minutes from Torp airport, with easy access to many European cities. We can help with renting a room in an apartment close to the factory.
