CPH Workshop & Archives Assistant
As the Workshop & Archives Assistant, you will gain valuable insight on the daily operations of an established in-house Modelshop and be part of a strategic effort to optimize our storage spaces. You will be focused on supporting our CPH based Workshop Team with their daily maintenance and facilities tasks, as well as supporting our NYC based Archives Team with their inventorying and digitalizing tasks. You will be based solely in CPH and reporting directly to the CPH Workshop Manager.

To enjoy & succeed in this role, you’ll need to consistently demonstrate:
- A level of professionalism where no task is too small or too repetitive to be done properly.
- A genuinely service minded approach to maintaining and organizing a safe and engaging working space, within a busy and fast paced environment.
- A commitment to take on strategic direction and ongoing feedback on a task, seeing it through independently and to the expected level of quality.
- Basic hands-on experience with Architectural Modelmaking or other design & make disciplines involving analogue and digital fabrication methods, will be beneficial.
- Architectural Design or Architectural Training will not form any part of your role.
In addition to the above and specifically towards our Archives:
- An ability to work in a cold storage environment without supervision & lift 5-15kg boxes that range in size, with minimal support.
- An enthusiasm to work directly with multiple stakeholders in collecting information, maintaining standards and establishing effective workflows, to support the adoption of best practices across all project teams.
- An attention to detail in providing quality control for all documentation and file naming, to ensure accuracy and consistency in all analogue and digital recordkeeping systems.

As this is an Internship position, all candidates must:
- Be able to have your Internship with BIG running for at least 6 months.
- Be a current student of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree, or be a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree. Graduates of a Master’s degrees cannot be considered as interns, in regards to the Danish legislation and a declaration will need to be signed prior to your start.
- The internship is paid.
