About the Opportunity

Join Sanofi as Operations and Customer Care manager. In this role you will Lead the downstream Supply Chain operations including Logistics, Order-to-Cash and process compliance for Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland.


Possible locations: Osterbro (DK), Stockholm (SE)

In this role you will….

Ensure that the core mission of the team is achieved on Operations, Customer Service and Logistics within Group procedures and local laws and regulations

Manage a team of 3-5 direct reports

Build a strong integration of People, Processes, Tools and Organization for efficient Operations within the Nordics

Work on continuous improvement initiatives within Order-to-Cash, logistics and related tasks

Collaborate with neighboring functions and influence Group processes and harmonization across geography

Accountable for meeting the company’s compliance standards

Work closely with Quality and Internal Control on process optimization and compliance

Lead, motivate and develop staff in order to create a high-performance team, by own example and by ownership of the department priorities

Train and support the team with operational activities and ensuring that all critical processes are well documented, have a back-up and are periodically reviewed to ensure Sanofi remains competitive. This includes Internal Control standards, Quality processes and efficient execution of logistics operations

Build Development plans to engage, grow and motivate the team

Ensure that Head Count and Budget is delivered

Own the budget for warehouse and distribution, and look for ways to improve service and costs

Own the budget for direct reports

About you

Qualifications/ Education & work experience

Master’s degree in business, supply chain. APICS certification in CPIM and/or CSCP preferred

3+ years of experience leading teams within operational responsibilities in Customer Service, Supply Chain or SC Planning within international company

Prove track record in Order-to-cash processes, customer interaction and Lead/Continuous Improvement projects. Experience in accounting standards

Accountable, takes ownership of tasks and decisions, success and failures

Honest and open in communications, not afraid to take less popular decisions or deliver unpleasant feedback but balanced feedback or challenge decisions

Capable to work effectively within a highly complex environment without losing sight of overall objectives and priorities

Disciplined to work highly accurate based on a strict calendar of activities

Team Leadership and coaching experience a preference

Management, attention to details, project management and communication skills

Oral and written fluency in English, any other Nordics language is an advantage
